Rajiv Ouseph

Born August 30, 1986, Theratil Rajiv Ouseph is an English badminton player of Indian descent. He was born and raised in London, where he studied media and communications at the University of Loughborough.

It has won the Senior National Singles title seven times in a row at the English National Badminton Championships from 2008 to 2014. It was the first English player to win as many consecutive national titles in men’s singles since Darren Hall (1988-1991).

In 2009 he won the Canadian Open, the “Volant d’Or” of Toulouse, the Scottish Open and the finals of the European circuits.

In 2010 he made his first record ranking by reaching the 18th place in the world ranking, with his victory in the US Open and his bronze medal at the European Championships mixed team. Later that same year, he also won the silver medal at the 2012 Commonwealth Games.
